Patagon JournalPATAGON JOURNAL is a quarterly,bilingual magazine about nature,culture,travel and the outdoors in the Patagonia region of Chile and Argentina.

The magazine includes some of the world’s leading journalists and photographers specialized in Chilean and Argentine Patagonia. The editors and regular writers already committed to participate include the authors of all the major North American travel guidebooks to Chile and Argentina (Lonely Planet,Frommer’s,Fodor’s,Moon),veteran contributors to National Geographic,Newsweek,Outside and Sports Illustrated,the Buenos Aires correspondent for CNN,and the travel correspondent for La Tercera,one of Chile’s largest national newspapers. Every issue will have,at least four in-depth,entertaining and literate articles,each complemented abundantly with exceptional photography,about a wide array of topics,such as investigative reports on environmental conflicts,feature stories on disappearing indigenous communities,first-person reports from scientific exploration or mountaineering expeditions,much more. A travel section with two long reports on top destinations or excursions in the region,and hotel and restaurant reviews. A photographic essay with up to 8 photographs. Regular departments and columns on topics such as fly fishing,trekking,mountaineering,environment,travel gear,books,and others and a Travel Directory and Classifieds section with listings and ads to help connect readers to hotels,excursions,products and other services in the region.
